Thomasville City Schools names new Chief Academic Officer

THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WCTV) - Thomasville City Schools named its new Chief Academic Officer Thursday.

In a social media post Thursday morning, TCS announced that it is excited to welcome Dr. Robin Cartright as the school district’s chief academic officer and looks forward to “the positive impact she will make” for the students, staff and families.

The now-filled position comes nearly two months after Grady County Schools announced that TCS’ former officer, Dr. Jordan Williams, was a finalist for GCS’ new superintendent of schools.

Williams was selected as a finalist for Grady County’s superintendent role after the former superintendent, Dr. Eric McFee, died unexpectedly in November.
