Ben Hill County Sheriff’s Office seeks public help locating wanted registered sex offender

BEN HILL COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Ben Hill County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a registered sexual offender wanted for violating state registry compliance laws.

The individual, William Yankton Nasworthy, is 52 years old, 6 feet tall, weighs 160 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He is wanted for a felony violation of OCGA 42-1-12(f)(5) related to sexual offender registry compliance.

Authorities warn the public not to approach Nasworthy. Anyone with information regarding his location should immediately contact the Ben Hill County Sheriff’s Office through Ben Hill County E-911 at (229) 426-5111 or by dialing 911.
