Miller County Sheriff’s Office arrests Thomasville man for theft

MILLER COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Miller County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) arrested a Thomasville man following a theft.

On Wednesday, July 31, deputies responded to a theft in progress in the Whitesbridge Road and Twilight Church Road area, according to a Facebook post by the sheriff’s office.

When deputies arrived, they made contact with the land owners who discovered the person on the property.

According to the post, Robert Kiser, of Thomasville, has been arrested and is facing the following charges:

• Three counts of theft by taking
• Burglary in the 2nd degree
• Possession of tools for the commission of crime
• Two counts of criminal trespass

“The MCSO would like to thank the citizens of Miller County for their assistance in this case,” the post said.
