Albany bodybuilder wins heavyweight in coastal championship

An Albany bodybuilder returned to the gym today to begin training for next year's national championship.
25-year-old Pete Williams won the Coastal Championships Bodybuilding Tournament heavyweight crown last month in Duluth only his second bodybuilding competition.
That qualified him for the 2013 National Championships.
Williams said besides winning the national crown his goal is to promote the sport.
"That's my hopes and dreams, to just grow the sport in my area. Bring attention to Albany and maybe we can become one of the leaders in fitness in Georgia," said Pete Williams, Coastal Bodybuilding Champion.
Williams says he hopes one day to open a bodybuilding gym and fitness center in Albany.
