ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Someone reportedly made off with unreleased music from Beyoncé as the superstar is set to finish her “Cowboy Carter” tour stops in Atlanta.

The reported theft happened at Krog Street NE on July 8 — just two days before Beyoncé’s first concert at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The artist’s choreographer and a dancer told police they parked a rental car in a parking deck, and when they returned, the car had been broken into.

LISTEN TO THE 911 CALL:

Five jump drives containing “watermarked music, some unreleased music, footage plans for the show, and past and future set list” were taken, an Atlanta Police Department incident report states.

Several other items including AirPods, a MacBook Pro and two suitcases were also stolen.

Atlanta police said the department has “secured an arrest warrant for a suspect,” but their identity has not been released.

According to the incident report, the vehicle used to commit the crime is believed to be a 2025 Hyundai Elantra with Georgia plates.

“Unbelievable, unbelievable, for someone that magnitude of an artist to have that type of information stolen,” said Osman Bangura, the studio manager and marketing coordinator with Patchwerk Recording Studios.

At Patchwerk in Atlanta, platinum artists come through by the dozens. Even Beyoncé recorded her earlier songs there.

Bangura said the stealing of artists’ hard work is unsettling.

“These people aren’t robots. To go into these sessions and create these moments that transcend people’s whole lives, it’s not something that can easily be replicated,” Bangura said.

“It’s hard to recreate those moments. So to have that much data confiscated, that’s crushing. Honestly, it’s crushing to a creative,” Bangura went on to say. “Because it takes so much to make these records, and the people that’s involved, different songwriters, different producers, so many different people are influential to make these records, and for that to be confiscated and taken the way it was... it’s hurtful to the whole team, honestly, everybody that’s part of the creative process.”

Monday is the last show of the Cowboy Carter Tour stops in Atlanta.

“We are going to know if they ever release this kind of music, this kind of choreography, we are going to know it’s Bey’s,” said Shelby Hardy, a Beyoncé fan attending the show.

“I think it says a lot to the climate of Atlanta. But I mean, it’s kind of what it is, I guess. Sometimes when you live in the city, we kind of just take it and accept that it is something that comes along with it,” said Pia Bhatti, another Beyoncé fan.

The Beyhive said they know their queen will not be too bothered.

“Beyoncé is gonna take this hit, and she gonna come back tenfold. It’s going to be even better than what she ever thought it was going to be,” said Beyoncé fan Cadric Moulton.

The police report states the suspect could have been driving a red 2025 Hyundai Elantra with Georgia plates. The report says after investigators dusted for prints, they retrieved two very light prints.

The report also says there are cameras in the area that captured the incident.
