Colquitt Police warn drivers of upcoming road closure

COLQUITT, Ga. (WALB) - The Colquitt Police Department (CPD) has taken to social media to warn drivers of an upcoming road closure.

On Friday, June 13, a portion of Thompson Town Road between Thompson West Road and Brooks Street will be closed for road maintenance.

Only locals who live in the area will be allowed access.

Drivers are encouraged to find alternative routes to avoid delays.

CPD says, “Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as the road crew works to improve our community’s infrastructure. Thank you for your understanding!”
