Suspect charged with double murder in Albany shooting

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Police have charged a man in connection to a shooting that happened last week in Albany.

Authorities said Trevis Lavell Price, 40, turned himself in Tuesday afternoon.

Price is charged with two counts of murder with additional charges pending.

Officials confirmed that a second person died after the shooting on East Road that happened on Thursday.

On Monday just before midnight, L.C. Tumblin, Jr., 47 died from his injuries after he was shot around 1:30 a.m. last week in the 200 block of East Road.

Dexter Cartez Covin, 43, was also shot and died at the hospital on Thursday.
