An Albany man is indicted on ten counts including armed robbery and aggravated assault in a July home invasion that left two men injured. Prosecutors say Darius Myers was one of a gang of masked gunmen who burst into a home on North Carroll Street in July, shooting 36 year old Leonard Polk twice, and pistol whipping 35 year old Marvin Womack.

The attackers stole money, a cell phone, and a food stamp card.

Myers was arrested later that month in Macon, where he was working as a cook at an IHOP restaurant.
