An Albany vitamin and vapor store re-opens after it was destroyed by a fire in 2013.

Summerlin's Vitamins and Vapor Corner re-opened yesterday on North Slappey Boulevard. An electrical fire destroyed the store in September of 20-13. The store went under 14 months of renovations and even moved to a temporary location.

Store employees say customers couldn't wait for them to re-open.

"Everybody has been super excited, they've been calling us everyday for the last 14 months, wanting to know when we were going to re-open and the time has come,” said Michael Summerlin. “We're back open."

The store owner invested $50,000 in renovations for their sign, cabinet, floors, ceilings and lights. Summerlin's Vitamin store has been in Albany for forty years.
