Albany Tech holds career fair
ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Students at Albany Technical College got a taste of the career world Thursday.
Nearly 50 employers from around South Georgia participated in the 15th annual Fall Career Fair at Albany Tech.
The event at the Kirkland Conference Center gave students a chance to speak with employers and learn about various job opportunities.
"I'm excited! There's a lot of potential employers here. All of them are great. I think it's a big career opportunity for anybody in any field, whether you're just starting off or whether you're already certified. Everybody here seems to be friendly so far," said Pamela James, an Albany Tech student.
Employers say it was also a good time to market their companies. Some conducted interviews for internships as well as part-time and full-time positions.
