A mild start with some spotty showers. Numerous afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected with heavy downpours and gusty winds. There's a Slight Risk for Excessive Rainfall. Temperatures will be held down this afternoon in the middle 80s

Radar is showing scattered showers and storms moving in from the Panhandle this afternoon. A few of these could briefly turn severe bringing torrential downpours leading to minor flooding and damaging winds up to 60mph. Storm activity should be easing up by sunset.
