Peggy Sleep Sutherland
Mrs. Peggy Sleep Sutherland 66 of Albany died April 18, 2009 at Columbus Specialty Hospital in Columbus, GA.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 11 AM at Putney United Methodist Church in Putney. Rev. Cathy Green officiating. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 PM at Kimbrell-Stern and will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Carson, 113 Woodstone Circle, Albany, GA 31701.
Mrs. Sutherland has lived in Albany all of her life where she was an active and faithful member of Putney United Methodist Church and UMW. Mrs. Sutherland loved spending time with her family and especially her grandkids.
Survivors include her daughters, Beverly Carson and her husband Bill of Albany, Sandra Usrey and her husband Mike of Albany, sons, Bobby Sutherland and his fiancée Kay Speir of Albany, David Clark and his wife Tammie of Albany, mother, Loraine Sleep of Albany, grandchildren, Jessica Carson, Allen Usrey, Carrie Usrey, Alyssa Clark and Kaley Speir and her beloved cat, "Cottonball".
Mrs. Sutherland was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Sutherland and her father, Roy Allen Sleep, Jr.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 PM at Kimbrell-Stern and will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Carson, 113 Woodstone Circle, Albany, GA 31701.
