TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A Tallahassee murder suspect behind bars for an unrelated shooting in Sept. was charged again Wednesday in connection with another incident, according to arrest papers.

The murder suspect was charged earlier this month with second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Those charges were filed in Oct. in connection with a homicide on Delaware Street that killed 28-year-old Damorris Smith.

Henry is now being charged after a man was found with a “small entrance gunshot wound” in an empty lot at 919 Bishop E. L. Sheppard Way on July 16, per arrest papers. The man has since been released from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

Eyewitnesses told police that the suspect was seen at a house before the shooting engaging in a physical altercation with the victim.

Henry was then seen taking out a gun, according to eyewitness accounts.
