Mega Millions jackpot continues to grow - making it the 10th largest in promotion’s history

(Gray News) - The Mega Millions jackpot is now the tenth-largest prize in Mega Millions history after no winner was drawn Tuesday.

No ticket matched all six numbers drawn Tuesday night: 2, 4, 10, 48 and 56, and the gold Mega Ball, 22.

The jackpot now stands at $672 million, with a cash option of $293.3 million. It surpasses the $656 million jackpot that previously held the record for the tenth-largest prize.

The largest Mega Millions jackpot of all time was won in August 2023. A single ticket bought in Florida won the $1.602 billion grand prize.

The current Mega Millions jackpot is also the largest jackpot of 2026 so far.

A $536 million Mega Millions jackpot was won on March 10, 2026, while the largest claimed Powerball jackpot of 2026 was a $250.8 million prize won by a player in Arkansas. The current Powerball jackpot is an estimated $498 million.

The last Mega Millions jackpot was won on March 10, 2026. A single ticket purchased in Ohio won the $60 million prize.

According to Forbes, the odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 290.4 million.
