Woman and her daughter found live worms in SpaghettiOs, leading to parasitic infections, lawsuit says

(CNN) — A Florida woman said she and her daughter found live worms in their SpaghettiOs after they had already eaten some.

Mary Hubbard of Florida and the girl’s father are suing Campbell’s and Walmart.

The family alleges the companies failed to properly inspect the product.

The woman said she and her daughter developed parasitic infections and other medical complications.

Campbell’s said it believes the claims lack merit and will defend itself against them.

A Walmart spokesperson said the company prioritizes health and safety and is reviewing the court filing.
