Grady County traffic stop leads to DUI and drug arrest, MDMA found
GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Grady County Sheriff’s Office has arrested one individual following a traffic stop that led to a drug-related investigation.
According to a Facebook post from the GCSO, on May 19, deputies conducted a traffic stop for equipment violations. The situation quickly escalated when deputies observed signs of impairment and detected the odor of narcotics.
Upon further investigation, the driver was found to be under the influence and in possession of multiple illegal substances, including MDMA (commonly known as Molly), marijuana, and cocaine.
The driver was taken into custody without incident and is currently facing multiple charges, including DUI and felony drug possession.
