(CNN) – A new type of dinosaur species has been discovered in Asia.

Paleontologists unearthed a fully preserved claw fossil.

The prehistoric remains were found in Mongolia’s Gobi Desert.

A recreation revealed the dinosaur the clawed-hand belonged to had two fingers.

Researchers suggest the unknown species looked like a mix between a sloth, giraffe and Edward Scissorhands.

It stood about 10 feet tall and used its curved claws to reach vegetation.

Staff at Mongolia’s Institute of Paleontology came upon the fossil several years ago.

It is the largest claw that has been found intact.
