Imprisoned ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ stars seek pardon from Trump
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Imprisoned reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley are hoping President Donald Trump can help them.
The couple is serving long prison sentences after a jury found them guilty of conspiring to defraud Atlanta area banks out of more than $30 million in fake loans.
The jury also convicted them of tax evasion. That was back in 2022.
And now, lawyers for the couple say they plan to reach out to Trump and ask for a pardon for the couple.
Todd and Julie Chrisley gained fame on their show, “Chrisley Knows Best,” which followed their tight-knit family and lifestyle.
The show was on the USA Network for 10 seasons.
After their convictions, a judge ordered Todd Chrisley to serve a 12-year prison sentence and Julie Chrisley seven years behind bars.
