Wife stabs husband with knife during altercation
Albany Police Department is investigating
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A woman is behind bars after stabbing her husband with a knife during an altercation, according to Albany police.
APD tells WALB that , officers responded to 1900 block of Meadows Lane, in reference to an aggravated assault. Upon arrival, officers saw the suspect, Shanzenytta Casas rendering aide to a man.
Casas told officers that her and her husband had an altercation, and she stabbed him with a knife after poking him several times.
Casas was transported to the Dougherty County Jail on the charge of aggravated assault- family violence.
