1 dead, 1 injured following Lee County car crash
LEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - 41-year-old Christopher Pratt died following a single-vehicle car crash in Lee County on Sunday.
On Oct. 20 around 4:30 a.m., state troopers were called to a crash on Ashburn Highway (Georgia State Route 32) near Cotton Gin Road.
Georgia State Patrol (GSP) said the investigation showed that the vehicle was traveling east on the highway as it left the road and drove onto the shoulder. The car then returned to the road where it overturned several times causing the driver to be ejected.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital with minor injuries according to GSP.
