Miller County forces Marion County to walk the plank

COLQUITT, Ga. (WALB) - The Tom Causey era in Colquitt is off to a great start. The Pirates are already halfway to last years win total and doing so in dominant fashion. In their two wins they have combined for 83 points. Last year they totaled just 169 on the year. It’s fair to say the offense a big reason for their hot start and it directly relates to the philosophy coach Causey brought with him.

Friday night Miller County had two guys hit the century mark on the ground. Most of the time it’s the guys upfront that make all the difference in the world, especially in single A football. The production the Pirates are getting from the hogs on the line will likely be the key to just how far this team can go.
