Newlyweds spend honeymoon at John Deere museum
WATERLOO, Iowa (Gray News) – A newlywed couple is spending their honeymoon John Deere style.
Kevin and Kolby Hansen, both avid John Deere enthusiasts, traveled from Minnesota to Iowa to visit the John Deere Tractor and Engine Museum to kick off their honeymoon Saturday.
According to KWWL, the Hansens are planning to continue their honeymoon by traveling to Illinois to see the John Deere Pavilion and the John Deere Historic Site.
The couple got married earlier this month in Minnesota. Following the wedding ceremony, the priest drove a John Deere tractor with the bridal party in tow.
Both the bride and groom said they grew up around the farm and developed a love for John Deere tractors. Early in their relationship, they even bonded over a shared love of John Deere.
Kevin Hansen works at John Deere in Minnesota and said it’s his dream job.
