Construction advances at Albany Tech’s Dr. Anthony O. Parker Transportation Academy
The academy is set to open in Fall 2024

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Construction continues at Albany Technical College’s Dr. Anthony O. Parker Transportation Academy.
The state-of-the-art facility, set to open in Fall 2024, will elevate the college’s Diesel Technology and Auto Collision Repair programs.
According to a Facebook post from the college, key developments include the completion of the concrete foundation and installation of structural beams.
Once completed, the academy will cover 21,000 gross square feet and will feature dedicated classrooms, labs/bay areas, faculty offices, locker rooms, and state-of-the-art equipment. The Diesel Technology Program will benefit from new interactive trainers, while the Auto Collision Repair Technology Program will offer specialized paint booth bay areas.
