VSU invites public to explore STEM at Science Saturday

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Valdosta State University (VSU) is providing the public with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of science with Science Saturday: Imagine, Design, and Build.

Scheduled for March 23 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on in Nevins Hall, this event offers an engaging platform for individuals of all ages to explore various facets of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The event is supported by VSU’s College of Science and Mathematics, Department of Applied Mathematics and Physics, and Department of Computer Science and Engineering Technology.

Activities include learning about the Valdosta skies, programming computers, solving puzzles, creating comets, and much more.

The event is free and open to everyone, with parking available in Main Campus parking lots without the need for a VSU parking permit.

The final Science Saturday of the semester, in collaboration with the Department of Biology, is scheduled for April 13.
