ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Two Albany attractions are teaming up to celebrate World Oceans Day.

Chehaw Park and the Flint Riverquarium are collaborating.
A sea mobile touch tank from Panacea, Florida and the Georgia Sea turtle center from Jekyll Island will be there.
There will also be arts and crafts and other educational activities.

"We thought it only make sense,” said Morgan Burnette, Chehaw Public Relations. “This year's theme is "Healthy Oceans, Healthy Planet." We cover the terrestrial world, they cover the aquatic so why not team up and get together and really educate people about what they do and how it affects the planet.”

You can enjoy World Oceans Day festivities Saturday from 10 to 2 at Chehaw Park's zoo plaza and Sunday from 1 to 5 at the Flint Riverquarium.
