ATHENS, GA (WALB) -  After watching three players leave early for the NFL,  Georgia head coach Mark Richt got some good news Thursday afternoon.

Redshirt sophomore safety Reshad Jones announced he will return for his junior season in the Bulldogs secondary.

Jones has been going back and forth on the issue since Georgia's bowl win two weeks ago.

Reshad Jones asked the NFL draft advisory committee on where he would selected if he came out but would not discuss what the committee told him.

Reshad Jones was a second team all-SEC player for Georgia at safety where he led the team with five interceptions.

Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford, running back Knowshon Moreno and cornerback Asher Allen are all leaving school early for the NFL draft.
