Lowndes County student struck by car

LOWNDES CO., GA (WALB) - A Lowndes County Middle School student was struck by a car Wednesday morning, according to school officials.
The student was hit on Cat Creek Road as the student was attempting to get on the bus, school officials said.
The student was taken to South Georgia Medical Center. The student is currently undergoing tests, according to officials.
An investigation is ongoing.
