VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - A South Georgia brewery is celebrating its independence after adopting the independent craft brewery seal.
Georgia Beer Company adopted the seal that was created by the Brewer's Association.
A spokesperson for the brewery said the seal marks which beers are produced by independently owned breweries in the United States.
Officials said that consumers will be able to see the certification starting when the cans hit markets this year.
This will make Georgia Beer Company one of 3,000 breweries that bear the seal.
