ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A woman accused of faking cancer is due back in court on Tuesday.

Police arrested Abbey Arthur on July 6 for theft by deception, identity fraud and a probation violation.

Tuesday's court appearance is a preliminary hearing for those charges.

Arthur was arrested in October of last year for DUI and asked for a trial delay, claiming she needed cancer surgery.
