Special election in the works for Worth County sheriff's race

WORTH CO., GA (WALB) - Plans are in the works to elect a new Worth County Sheriff.
Jeff Hobby resigned from the post following a series of criminal investigations.

The Worth County election supervisor is working with the county attorney to make sure everything is in place for a special election.
Lenny Davis has qualified to run in the special election.
Davis also ran back in 2012 on the Democratic ticket but was beat by John J.D. Daniel in the primary election.
