THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Wednesday was one of the last opportunities the public has to voice opinions about the status of South Pinetree Boulevard.
City Engineer Wayne Newsome will discuss what they planned for Pinetree, if the road were to expand to three lanes.
Wednesday's meeting follows a city council meeting last month when Council Member Jay Flowers' motion to suspend all activities regarding South Pinetree Boulevard passed.
That decision came after the council illegally voted to expand the road from two lanes to three by adding the item to the agenda during its meeting.
The next meeting to discuss Pinetree is set for July 23rd. Flowers said there is a chance a vote could happen at that meeting, as well.
