South GA couple charged in mortgage fraud scheme

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A Moultrie couple was charged Monday in a mortgage fraud scheme.
Geo Geovanni and Elizabeth Longerbone were charged with conspiracy to commit bank fraud and four counts of bank fraud.
The Moultrie Observer reports Geovanni and Longerbone devised and executed a mortgage fraud and scheme involving an apartment complex in Florida.
If convicted, both could face up to 30 years in prison for each count.
