ALBANY, GA (WALB) - For almost 10 years, the Albany Museum of Art has encouraged families to explore their creative side.
Saturday was no different.
The museum's Family Day started off as a one-time event.
Organizers said they now do it twice a year, because of the continuous turn out.
They said it provides an opportunity to expose the art museum to the community.
" A lot of families enjoying quality time together at this free event, creating art activities together, enjoying the exhibits and the galleries, playing games outside and just having fun," said Kristin Casso, the Special Events Coordinator for Albany Recreations.
The museum will host another family day in the fall.
