THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A Thomasville pharmacy is now without $7,000 in medication after a burglary last night.
Police on patrol saw a broken window at the Convenient Care Pharmacy on West Jackson Street.
The burglars only took hydrocodone pills.
Investigators said this also happened at Grow Drug Company in Colquitt.
"The same mode of operation that occurred over in their jurisdiction. Those individuals were able to take thousands of prescriptions, several different types," said Capt. Maurice Holmes.
Investigators said the use of hydrocodone pills is on the rise in Thomasville.
