LIVE on TIG: Pipeline explosion threatens gas shortage

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Colonial Pipeline in Alabama remains shut down after an explosion Monday raising fears of gas shortages and price increases.

One worker was killed and at least seven other were injured in the blast in rural northern Alabama.

A leak not far from the site of the blast led to a higher gas prices in September as crews worked several days to repair the pipeline.
