MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - The GBI has opened an investigation into a Moultrie man's death from August.
Connell Ponder, 63, was found unconscious near his bicycle in the 500 block of 11th Court Southeast.
He died two weeks later at a hospital.
Investigators initially thought his death was the result of a bike accident, but the GBI is looking into it and waiting on further lab results.
An autopsy listed Ponder's cause of death as head trauma in conjunction with cocaine toxicity.
