COOLIDGE, GA (WALB) - Jonathan Bryant faces more charges, after he was arrested over the weekend, in connection to an armed robbery in Coolidge.
The drug squad spent all day Monday searching his house, and found both crack and cocaine.
The store reported than more than $10,000 was stolen from the convenience store, but none of that was found at the home.
Investigators did find 20 bags of powdered cocaine. They said they also found a large amount of crack cocaine.
Investigators believe there is sometimes a clear connection between robberies and drug crimes.
"Drugs and crime do go hand in hand. People are robbing and stealing to get money to further their drug habits, and this appears to be a case of that," said Thomas County Drug Commander Louis Schofill.
Bryant is now being charged with possession with intent to distribute.
