Woman turns herself in, accused of stabbing man in mouth

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - One of Albany's Most Wanted women, accused of trying to cut a man's tongue out, turned herself in to Albany Police Wednesday afternoon.

Siddequah Parks, 26, walked into the Albany Police station at around 4:30 and surrendered.

She was charged with aggravated assault and will be held in the Dougherty County Jail.

Arrest warrants were issued by Albany Police for Parks.

Police said Brewton Offord, 31, was treated at the hospital on August 20th for cuts to his lip and tongue.

Police said his wounds were so serious he could not speak.

After he recovered, Offord said Parks cut him in the mouth, apparently trying to cut his tongue out.

Parks made her first appearance before a Judge Thursday morning, and is now being held without bond at the Dougherty County jail.
