Plane lands in cotton field after clipping power line

ASHBURN, GA (WALB) - Turner County Emergency Management officials say that a crop duster made an emergency landing after clipping a power line near Shepherd Road Thursday.

EMA Director Mark Robinson said the pilot landed safely in a cotton field, and there were no injuries.

Power was interrupted to some homes and businesses in Ashburn.

The area is near the Worth - Turner County line, between Sycamore and Sylvester.
