Valdosta Walmart cleared after bomb threat

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - The Valdosta Police Department responded to a bomb threat at the Inner Perimeter Road Walmart Monday.

The call came in at around 2:20 p.m.

The store was evacuated and searched, but no device was found.

Walmart officials reopened the store.

Valdosta Police Explosive Detective K-9  and Moody Explosive Ordinance Disposal dogs were called to assist with the search.

The investigation is ongoing.
