A Thomas County drug busts leads agents to a home right across from a school.

They arrested Deshun Smith, Tabitha Harris, and Angela Seabrooks and charged them with cocaine and marijuana possession with intent to distribute near a school and a housing project.

Authorities say they found more $200 in cocaine and a half pound of marijuana.

They also seized $900 and items including a digital scale.

"The sheriffs office and drug squad mainly tries to target the dealers. If you hit the dealers hard then you are effecting the users of course. Just trying to get the dealers, every time you get one there's three more waiting it seems like to take their place," said Captain Steve Jones, Thomas County Sheriff's Office.

Smith remains in the Thomas County Jail.

Harris and Seabrooks were released on bonds of $5,100 each.
