THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Thomasville Police need the public's help identifying the attackers in a brutal assault that sent one man to the hospital.
The attack happened last week at the Econolodge in Thomasville on Highway19.
Investigators said that they believe a group of three or four individuals attacked a man outside the bar at the hotel.
Police said that several witnesses were at the hotel at the time of the attack but so far only a few have come forward with details.
"I know someone there at that hotel knows these individuals by name and we're asking for any assistance they can give us in this matter, to identify these individuals so we can question them and find out why they assaulted this individual as they did," said Captain Maurice Holmes with the Thomasville Police Department.
Police are offering a $500 reward for anyone with information that leads to an arrest in the case.
