Sheriff McLemore believes someone may have helped Holcomb escape.

"We tracked him across a little hedge road next to the Sheriff's Office across the field to the road, Appomattox Road, and it looked like a car pulled over on the side of the road and possibly picked him up," said Sheriff McLemore.

The case is still under investigation as deputies search for the person who may have help Holcomb escape.
