ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A new agreement signed by Albany Tech and Georgia Military College presidents today means some students are guaranteed admission into one of GMC's Bachelor programs.

Any student who earns an Associate in Applied Science at Albany tech and has at least 24 transferable semester hours accepted by GMC is guaranteed acceptance into one of GMC's Bachelor of Applied Science programs.

"So what our school has done is developed a two-year program so that they can transfer all their credits from the two-year technical school into our school. And with two more years of college, attain a four-year degree in leadership, and supervision and management," said William B. Caldwell President of Georgia Military College.

The new agreement falls in line with Governor Deal's initiative to help provide an improved pipeline from high school through college graduation.
