Former Lee Co. sub held for molestation
LEESBURG, GA (WALB) - A South Georgia man is in the Lee County jail on Cobb County child molestation charges.
In 2013, Alexander Edwards was arrested for inappropriate Internet conduct with a child. This is his mugshot from that arrest. At the time he worked as a substitute teacher in Lee County and was a youth pastor at Providence Church, but has since been fired.
Edwards was picked up last week by Lee County deputies for a new child molestation charge in Cobb County. We are working on getting all the details on this new arrest.
No word yet when he will be transported to Cobb County.
