MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - A Moultrie woman is accused of stabbing a man in her home, right next to the police department.
An argument gets ugly this weekend in Moultrie. And police weren't that far away.
Linda Rivera is charged with aggravated assault.
Moultrie police say around 1 a.m., Saturday she stabbed her live-in boyfriend in the chest in their home at the intersection of Second Avenue and Second Street Southwest.
That's right behind police headquarters.
Neighbors say that they were shocked to see Rivera being arrested.
"I was real surprise because I don't know what we had going on. I didn't know he got stabbed I don't know what was going on. They said somebody got stabbed and the lady came outside with a knife," Dontarius Persley said.
The victim Ricky Wilson was released from the hospital yesterday.
