Camaro, cocaine, cash seized in Sumter Co. bust
AMERICUS, GA (WALB) - Sumter County Sheriff's deputies seized cocaine, cash, and property after executing search warrants in a 6-month long drug investigation.
Agents found drugs, scales, packaging materials, weapons, and thousands of dollars in cash.
They also seized a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro.
Officers were looking for Milo Mumford in connection to the drug trafficking investigation.
Instead they found his mother, Renae Mumford Mann, and arrested her on weapons charges.
Milo Mumford is still wanted in reference to the drug trafficking investigation.
"He's a bonafide dealer," said Sumter County Sheriff Pete Smith. "The people on the street know who he is, he's endangering people's lives. We're going to continue our search for Mr. Mumford and we feel sure that we'll end up catching up with him. It's just a matter of time."
