LEE CO., GA (WALB) - Firefighters say a section of a home was heavily damaged in a fire that started in a motorhome parked next to the house.

Firefighters were called to a home on Seahoy Drive near Leesburg just before 10:30 Friday morning.

The motorhome was totally destroyed and the master bedroom and attic area in the rear of the home suffered heavy damage.

No one was home when the fire started and firefighters said it will be tough to determine the cause of the fire due to the amount of damage sustained by motorhome.

One firefighter was sent to the hospital for observation due to the heat.

No other injuries were reported.
