South GA film premieres tonight
CORDELE, GA (WALB) - Blackfight Studios in Association with Grindhouse Productions presents the world premiere screening of it's feature horror film entitled "The Legend of Seven Toe Maggie" tonight in Cordele.
The film was written and directed by Georgia native Joseph Lavender and features a story based on a real urban legend in South Georgia called "Seven Toe Maggie."
The film was shot in various parts of South and Middle Georgia including: Cordele, Sycamore, Byron. The majority of the film was shot in a Victorian house in Sycamore.
The movie stars Atlanta actors, Mandi Christine Kerr (Necessary Roughness) and Chase Steven Anderson (Ride Along, Satisfaction) and many local and regional actors from all parts of the state.
The film is hosting it's world premiere at the Crisp County Middle School Auditorium Friday March 13th at 8:00PM. The event is a red carpet premiere, and the entire community is invited to attend. Special guests from the cast and the director of the film will be in attendance at this special screening.
