Autopsy ordered for Albany woman murdered inside her home

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Police report a 28 year old woman was shot and killed early this morning.
The Dougherty County Coroner confirms the woman is 28-year old Jessica Bryant.
Bryant was shot inside her home at 403 South Cleveland Street, and died from her wound. They report the time as 6:51 AM.
This is the fifth homicide reported in Albany so far this year.
A autopsy will be performed on Monday.
